How the Diamond program works

The program comprises of the following steps:

1. Selection of Developer Candidates

Prerequisites:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • Experience with or knowledge of Computer Science methodologies
  • Fundamentals in OOD, data structures, C, C++, C# or Java.

  • Strong aptitude for math and analytical thinking with ability to solve complex problems.
  • Proficient written and verbal English skills with comfort communicating within a group.
  • A fast learner, work well within a team and maintain an easy-going personality.
  • Must be a US Citizen or provide proof of US work visa with more than 2 years before expiration.
  • Must have the desire to work hard, have fun and be part of a very dynamic and growing global company.
  • Must clear all evaluations (tests, interviews) to be selected at the standards of a Diamond Developer.

2. Ramp-up Training

  • Java for Android Developers.
  • Java Design Patterns for Android. 
  • Developing Mobile Applications with Android.
  • Advanced Android Application Development.
  • Projects on Android to be completed.
  • Practice sessions and hands-on lab assignments.
  • Code reviews and guest lectures.
  • Trainees receive small transportation stipend.

Client On-Site Projects

  • At the end of the Ramp-up training, the client selects the top developers to join their teams for a period of 1-2 years.
  • Employees will be on SELA’s payroll as W2 employees with all benefits managed by SELA.
  • Employees will be committed to 40+ hours/week.  


On-Going Mentorship

All employees receive technical support through continuous mentoring by SELA’s technical Experts and have free access to SELA’s Knowledge bank (lectures, seminars and trainings).
